There will be an interactive gospel workshop on using The Mystery of Human Life tomorrow, Friday, November 28, from 3:30 to 5:00 PM in Parents’ Room 201-203. This time is open to all those who are burdened to be equipped to learn how to use this precious booklet and present it effectively to gospel friends and seekers. The workshop will include some time to practice using this gospel tract in different ways.
The following books have been recommended as supplemental readings for this conference:
The Dispensing of the Triune God to Produce His Abode
(Also available as a free eBooklet)
Praising
(Also available as a free eBooklet)
This analytical interlinear presents the Greek text underlying the Recovery Version New Testament, with the Strong’s number, a grammatical code, and a literal English gloss for each Greek word. The corresponding Recovery Version text is also included at the bottom of each page. We believe this Analinear fulfills the burden that Watchman Nee expressed in the later part of his ministry regarding the need for a very literal, word-for-word translation of the Greek New Testament to aid us in our careful study of God’s Word.
This new text-only, pocketsize edition of the English New Testament has been retypeset in paragraph format for easy, daily reading. Its smaller size now comfortably fits in your pocket.
This new book is a compilation of testimonies of the Lord’s seekers, lovers, and servants from the Scriptures and throughout the church age. It is a record of these faithful ones’ experiences of calling upon the name of the Lord, as seen in their pattern, sermons, commentaries, and expositions, as well as personal diaries, journals, letters, and hymns. The quotations from these sources serve as windows into the believers’ deep personal love for the Lord and their continuous seeking of Him by calling upon Him.
‘Everyone Who Calls’ is in some ways an extension of an earlier book, ‘Lord…Thou Saidst,’ which is a presentation of the scriptural practice of praying the Word of God back to the Lord.
Because skeptics have questioned the practice of calling on the name of the Lord, we were motivated to look throughout church history in order to find accounts in which the followers of the Lord called on His name, just as the saints and believers in the Bible did. Our endeavor continued for more than forty years and involved reading or scanning thousands of books and articles. Thus, it has been altogether heartening and supplying to study the practice of calling.
This book encourages calling on the name of the Lord for salvation, for daily habitual practice, and for producing a remnant who prepare themselves for the Lord’s coming. It is a privilege to “pursue righteousness, faith, love, peace with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart” (2 Tim. 2:22). May this book inspire all of us to call upon the wonderful name of our Lord.
Composed of select messages from the Life-study of Genesis, this new publication has been produced as an attractive, hardbound edition that would make an ideal gift for our neighbors, friends, colleagues, and relatives. This book is especially suitable for the young ones among us. Joseph is the only perfect type of Christ in the Bible, yet he faced the same trials confronting our young people today. As a teenager, he received heavenly visions through dreams. Those visions not only controlled his life; they also sustained his faith. The lessons learned from this book will inspire, encourage, guide, and preserve the young people as they consider Joseph’s remarkable life.
There will be a time of fellowship for working saints on Saturday afternoon from 3:30 PM to 5:00 PM in the main conference meeting room. This may include, but is not limited to, graduate students, working saints, parents, and campus or community serving ones. Other burdened saints are welcome to join as well. In order to start the meeting promptly, we encourage all who plan to attend to arrive at 3:20 PM.
